USA – California Road Trip Day 7

Anaheim – Day 7 of a 8-Day California Road Trip

We left Santa Barbara early on Day 7. Day 7’s purpose was to spend the whole day at Disneyland California Adventures in Anaheim!

Day 7

Anaheim

The drive to Anaheim from Santa Barbara is just over 2 hours (longer depending on traffic). We stopped at Lee’s Sandwiches (the Brookhurst Street one) to pick up Vietnamese sandwiches for our day at Disneyland. Lee’s Sandwiches is good, but I definitely prefer my local Vietnamese sandwich spot in Vancouver.

From there, Disneyland is about a 15 minute drive. We spent the entire day at Disneyland California Adventures, it was so much fun and not as busy due to the time of the year. At the park, I had to eat the turkey leg (I’ve been told it’s actually ham) and the churros! Here’s an iconic photo of the ferris wheel and roller coaster:

Disneyland California Adventures

We left Disneyland California Adventures around 10pm and stopped at Kaiba Japanese Ramen, Sushi & Grill to pick up dinner. The restaurant is drive through only after 9pm. The food was good and portions quite big. A good alternative to the late night fast food spots like McDonald’s or In-N-Out Burger. We ordered the ramen, gyoza, and dynamite roll to take back to our hotel for dinner.
